Anna Boberg Anna Boberg a.k.a Bopa, has established herself in the field of visual performance and motion graphics for music. She has designed the tour visuals for many artists such as Bryan Ferry, Roxy Music and The Streets to name a few.

Wim Wenders – Is a Director and Producer who began his career with the rise of the New German Cinema at the end of the 1960s. He has directed several highly acclaimed documentaries, most notably Buena Vista Social Club (1999) and The Soul of a Man (2003)

Carlos Acosta – The talented Cuban ballet dancer and choreographer has performed with many companies. Carlos has been a permanent member of The Royal Ballet since 1998, and in 2003 he was promoted to Principal Guest Artist.

Pipilotti Rist- The Swiss artist’s lush multimedia installations playfully and provocatively merge fantasy and reality. She has recently been commissioned by MoMA ( Museum of Modern Art) to create a monumental site-specific installation.

WRENCH & FRANKS – Kevin Wrench and Andrew Franks are film and installation artists who work with people like DUCKiE, Aardman Animations and the Schwueles Museum in Berlin, to devise, script and design installations, film and animation productions, which entertain and disorientate audiences of all ages. Their work combines the best of developing technology with traditional theatrical techniques.

Shaun O’Connor from PRICKIMAGE is a VJ and video artist, resident at Fabric with WYS (WetYourSelf club night), travelling London and Europe’s festivals and prime venues. Collaborating with Ahh…Arts Igniting Minds, Noise of Art, Jonny Woo and Caron Geary.

John Waters- is a prolific American filmmaker, actor, writer, journalist, visual artist and art collector. He was recently promoting his latest book, Role Models!, a self- portrait told through intimate literary profiles of his favourite personalities: some famous, some unknown, some criminal and some alarmingly middle of the road.

Barbara Kruger- is an American conceptual artist.  Enveloping the viewer with the seductions of direct address, her work is consistently about the kindnesses and brutalities of social life: about how we are to one another.

In a career span of 13 years, Somu Mohapatra has developed an extensive knowledge of Computer-Generated Imagery and has been credited in films such as The Chronicles of Narnia (2005), Night at the Museum II (2009) and GI Joe (2009).

Claire Denis- is a Paris-based filmmaker internationally recognized for her fearless investigation of the human condition, focusing on cross-cultural tensions and family troubles. She is currently shooting a film inspired by Jean-Luc Nancy.

Andy Serkis –  In 1999, he landed the prize role of Gollum in Peter Jackson’s epic film The Lord of the Rings. Apart from his line of CGI-driven characters, Serkis continues with traditional acting in several leading and supporting roles.

Mehmet Akten aka MEMO is a visual artist, musician and interaction designer with a focus on creating emotional and memorable experiences. Using programming as his primary artist’s tool, he develops technology to create new instruments and explore alternative ways of performing visuals and sound.

Graeae – is a British organisation composed of artists and managers with physical and sensory impairments. The artistic approach creates aesthetically accessible productions that include a disabled and non-disabled audience. Graeae is the leading British company in its field, and is currently led by Jenny Sealey, Artistic Director.

Clint Dyer – has acted for 20 years in film, TV and theatre. On stage he has worked with acclaimed directors. As a writer Dyer has had work optioned by Nik Powel at Scala Films and is currently developing a screenplay with Lisbet Matz at Prima Films and director Rob Heath.He is also writing an original play entitled Emergency .

Fraser Ayres – is best known for his role as Clint in the BBC comedy series, The Smoking Room. His stage work won him Best Actor awards for his performance in The People Next Door and his film work includes Revenger’s Tragedy and Intimacy.  Most recently he played Ray in the BBC Three drama pilot West 10 LDN.

Todd Haynes – is an award-winning American film director best known for the films Poison, Academy -nominated Far From Heaven, and I’m Not There. His most frequent collaborator is actress Julianne Moore.

The Garden of Ideas Workshopping Forum

Southwark Arts Forum invited Ahh… to present The Garden of Ideas at a workshopping forum to artists. The aim was to get feedback so as to shape the vision of the Garden of Ideas and possible collaboration with the artists.
